Plinth hire is available with wedding and event floral bookings only and is subject to availability. These terms outline the requirements for care of hire items, delivery, repositioning, security bonds and return obligations.
Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
Plinth hire is available only when added to a wedding or event floral booking with Flowers by Tracey.
Plinths may be added to full-service wedding bookings, event floral bookings and à la carte flower orders, depending on availability.
Plinths are not available as standalone hire unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A refundable security bond may be required and will be confirmed at the time of quoting or booking.
Where a bond is required, it will be refunded within 3 business days once all hire items have been collected or returned in their original condition.
Deductions may be made for cleaning, damage, loss or late fees as outlined below.
Any damage, breakage or loss will be charged at full replacement value and may be deducted from the bond.
If replacement costs exceed the bond amount, the client agrees to pay the outstanding balance within 7 days.
All hire items must be returned clean, dry and free from marks, tape, glue, food residue, wax, floristry residue or other substances.
A cleaning fee may be deducted from the bond or invoiced separately if extra cleaning is required.
The standard hire period is up to 3 consecutive days.
Longer hire periods may be available by arrangement and must be confirmed in advance.
If items are not returned or made available for collection within the agreed hire period, a late fee may apply and may be deducted from the bond or invoiced separately.
Plinths must be placed on a level surface where possible.
They must not be left outdoors overnight or exposed to strong wind or extreme weather conditions.
The client is responsible for ensuring the plinths are used safely and appropriately at the event location.
Delivery and collection are included in the quote when plinths are added to a wedding or event floral booking.
Delivery and collection details will be confirmed as part of your flower quote and will depend on the event location, timing, access and overall floral setup.
End-of-event collection may be available by arrangement and, where required, will be quoted separately.
Repositioning may be available for full-service wedding bookings only.
This may include moving plinths and floral arrangements from the ceremony area to the reception area after the ceremony.
Repositioning is not available for à la carte flower orders.
All repositioning requirements must be discussed before booking and will be quoted based on the venue, timing, access, wait time and floral setup involved.
DIY transport or self-collection is not generally available for plinth hire.
If self-collection is approved in writing, the client must provide a suitable enclosed vehicle and transport all items securely.
A higher security bond may apply for approved self-collection.
Plinth hire is confirmed once it has been included in your wedding or event flower quote and the required payment has been received.
Payment terms will be outlined in your quote or invoice.
In the unlikely event that a plinth becomes unavailable due to damage, loss or circumstances outside our control before your event, Flowers by Tracey may substitute it with a similar item where possible.
If a suitable substitute is not available, Flowers by Tracey will ensure an appropriate alternative solution is provided at no additional cost to the client.
Flowers by Tracey may take photographs of hire items and floral arrangements at your event and use these images for promotional purposes, including social media, website and marketing materials.
Flowers by Tracey may also re-share client or photographer images featuring the hire items and flowers, with credit where possible.
If there are restrictions on photography, it is the client’s responsibility to notify Flowers by Tracey in writing before the event.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this clause applies to all bookings.
