The Begonia maculata, or Polka Dot Begonia as it is more commonly known, is a show stopper! It has silver polka dots that seem painted on its olive-coloured leaves, crimson-coloured undersides, and sprays of open bell-like red or white flowers with bright yellow centres on bamboo-looking knotty stems. This over-the-top begonia originates from the tropical forests of Brazil and is perfect if you’re looking for something unusual. It is a great choice and super easy to care for.
